O-rings, in the two standards your machines actually use.

Metric for European equipment, inch for anything American or older. Both come from the same mould range, so the answer to “can you get this size” does not depend on which standard you quote.

Metric O-rings

DIN 3771 and ISO 3601, the standard range used across European hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. If your drawing gives a millimetre dimension with no standard reference, it is almost certainly this series.

AS568 & BS1806

The American series, in the five cross sections that cover almost everything: -0xx at 1.78 mm, -1xx at 2.62 mm, -2xx at 3.53 mm, -3xx at 5.33 mm, -4xx at 6.99 mm. BS1806 uses the same dimensions, so one enquiry answers both.

How to orderSend the number — AS568-214, BS1806-214, or the dash number on its own
Coverage-001 to -4xx series, subject to mould availability
MaterialNBR 70 as standard; FKM on request
Useful to knowAn AS568 dash number is a metric dimension in disguise — -214 is 31.50 mm ID × 3.53 mm CS
We will not substitute a metric ring for an AS568 one. They can be within a hundredth of a millimetre and still sit outside the tolerance band of the groove. If we do not hold the dash number, we say so.

Other sealing products, against your part number.

Oil seals, hydraulic seals, back-up rings and cut gaskets are supplied to order but are not listed here, because we would rather answer accurately than advertise a range we have not verified. Send the number or the drawing and we will tell you what is possible.

Not sure which standard you have?

Send a photograph of the ring next to a ruler, or the machine make and model. Identifying the series is part of the job.
